Bugatti Teasing New Model in Frankfurt Show Invitation Card?

Could the vehicle pictured in this scanned photo from an official Bugatti invitation to a special event at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September be depicting the firm's long-rumored four-door sports sedan? Well, the only thing we can be certain of is that it isn't the Veyron - or at least not the current generation model.

Internet rumors, which have not been confirmed in any way by Bugatti or the VW Group for that matter, say that it may be a close-to-production concept study for a new uber-luxurious sedan heavily based on the underpinnings of the forthcoming Bentley Arnage replacement known as the 'Grand Bentley'.

For the time being and until we discover something new, we'll just keep this in the 'Rumorville' department.

VIDEO: Salesperson Takes Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport for a Quick Spin

If you're looking for a salesman going "slideways" or 200mph on the highway with a $2 million supercar, then sorry to say, you'll be disappointed. This video of the topless Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport was created by Adrian Hill, client advisor at St. Louis Motorsports located in Missouri. Apparently Adrian has found a different way to pitch the dealership's products by creating a string of videos that are somewhat goofy, yet charming due to their simplicity and his personal down-to-earth attitude.

Can't say if this particular video actually reaches the right clientele, but watching it makes you feel no different than if you visited a pal of yours who works at a ritzy dealership and he took you for a quick spin in a uber-expensive supercar.

Bugatti Stratos: Retrotastic Concept Study by Bruno Delussu

Bugatti Stratos ConceptDesigned by Bruno Delussu from France, the Bugatti Stratos is retro-futuristic concept study that draws inspiration chiefly from the Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic which is considered by many as one of the most beautiful cars of all time. Bruno states that he also used some design cues from the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Mille Miglia for the styling of the front end. To be completely frank, the first car that leaped into our mind upon seeing the Strato's fascia was the BMW-powered Weismann MF4 Roadster.

The French graphic designer said that his goal with the Bugatti Stratos was to create a pure fantasy vehicle clearly focusing on the design aspect of the concept without taking into account the technical restrictions and the resulting styling limitations of a model intended for production.

Bugatti Releases New Photo Album of Topless Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport

Bugatti Veyron Grand SportAs the classy media and ritzy customers are taking their first test drives of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, Bugatti decided to share a few more photos of its topless model with the less fortunate. Featuring a removable top and the necessary structural upgrades, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport retains the standard model's 1,001-horsepower 16-cylinder mid-mounted engine that allows the supercar to reach a top speed of 407km/h (253mph), while speeds of up to 360km/h (224mph) are possible with the roof off.

All in all, Bugatti will produce a total of 150 units of the Grand Sport, each priced at a 'mere' €1.4 million (without taxes and transportation), which comes close to $2 million US. For more details on the roofless Bugatti, click here.

Video Preview of Porsche Boxster-Based Bugatti Veyron Replica in the Making

While we certainly won't go as far as calling the Boxster the Fiero of the 2010s, thanks to its mid-engine layout and a significant drop in pricing of the first generation models, Porsche's roadster model is becoming increasingly popular as a donor car among replica makers. Recently we showed you a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster clone based on a Boxster S, but now there's a new project car making the internet rounds.

This time the Porsche model will lend its hardware to a Bugatti Veyron replica that is being built as we speak by a man who goes by the name Orlando M. The replica maker explains that the car will not be put up for sale upon completion but will be used as a personal vehicle. The project is still under development but you can take a sneak peek of the process in the videos after the jump.

Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero by Mansory New photos pics images

The Linea Vincero, the result of the customization program by Mansory and based on the Bugatti Veyron 16 will be officially unveiled this spring at the 2009 Geneva Auto Salon.

Totally lightweight, the aerodynamic kit was manufactured using the finest carbon fiber, providing optimized performance and driving comfort besides the creation of a totally exclusive appearance. The front receives a makeover that creates a more powerful look particularly in conjunction with the modified mudguards. Highlights that improve its stylish overall appearance include an incorporated LED-elements that underscores new lines and forms that honor the brand name Vincerò together with new side skirt design that helps maintain the flow of its elegant design from the front end to the back. A fresh front splitter was also added to a shortened engine cover.

The modified supercar features an enhanced cold air induction system and an optimized exhaust, which enables the Bugatti's massive 8.0-liter 16 cylinder engine to produce 1109 hp and 1310 Nm of torque (instead of the standard 1001 hp and 1250 Nm of torque).

In terms of styling, Mansory equips the Linea Vincero Veyron with an extensive carbon-fiber body kit that includes a shorter hood, a new front apron, revised side skirts, and an aggressive rear diffuser. The company also adds a "V" insignia to the front grille, LED daytime running lights, and fully-forged turbine-design wheels.

Inside, the Linea Vincero Veyron features additional carbon-fiber trim and LED lighting fitted to seats, doors and dash.
